George Tutuska (born February 27, 1965 in Hartford, Connecticut) is an American musician, best known as the former drummer of the alternative rock band Goo Goo Dolls.^[1] He grew up in South Buffalo with four sisters.

He attended Medaille College in Buffalo, and was studying to become an English teacher. That was also where he met Robby Takac and formed the Sex Maggots (later named Goo Goo Dolls) with one of Takac’s friends, John Rzeznik.

Along with being the drummer for the band for nearly 10 years, Tutuska was a primary lyricist for all five albums he contributed to.
